    pehli mulakat tumsai hui,
    pehli mulakat mai merai dil mai utargai ,
    mai kahta raha sochta raha Yeh kia khata horahi hai,
    janai kio yeh aaj mera dil behekraha hai,
    merai dil bata aaj hona hai kia ,
    chandni din mai kio chaa rahi hai,
    zindagi kistarah jarahi hai,
    merai dil bata aaj hona hai kia,
    kio hawa aaj garahi hai ,
    Yeh kiska hai chehra jisai mai har phool mai diakhta ho,
    yeh kiskai hai alfaaz jisai mai her awaaz mai sunta hu,
    merai dil bata yeh kahani hai kia,
    yeh mulakat kaisa ishara hai,
    yeh mohabbat kia mohabbat hai.
    yeh kaisi khudai hai jis taraf daikho uskai lafzo mai ghirjata hu.
    yeh kiski hai awaaz na sunkai bhi mai sunraha ho ,
    kaisi yeh aahatai arahi hai kaisai yeh khaab dikhlarahi hai,
    merai dil bata kon hai araha. jo bhi hai mera apna hai
